the process

Creating a blog for YOU is not a simple task.  I like to work closely with you as I develop a piece of blog{ART} that suits you.

Here’s how it works.

1. You’ve checked out my portfolio and read the information, and have decided you want to purchase some blog[ART} (you are in the right place!) yourself.  Fabulous.

2. You fill in the form located here - and are then placed on the waiting list.

3. I email you to confirm you are on the waiting list, and to answer any questions you may have asked.

4. I send you a link to my waiting list, along with a password (to the waiting list) and your client code.  You can check the waiting list for your client code to see how close you are to getting to the top.

5. A few weeks out from it being your turn, I will email you a client information form that I will need you to fill out – this will contain important questions regarding the design that you are wanting.

6. Once I receive your client information form I will request 50% payment before design can start. Payment plans are always an option, as is bartering – I am fairly flexible – but your blog will not be released to you until full payment is received – unless by prior arrangement.

7.  After payment is received I will set up a specific client page only accessible by you and I where I can let you know where I am at with your blog, and we can discuss anything necessary.

8. Once I start your design – we will keep in contact via your client page to ensure that everything is running smoothly.  Yes – we may use email from time to time – but emails get lost sometimes – so I will try to keep emailing to a minimum.

9. I will work on your design and blog implementation on my local server.  I will constantly update you on the look.  Once it is at a stage that is stable – I will upload it to my server and we can iron out any glitches.

10.  Once you are happy with your blog, and I have received full payment, I will upload to your server.

11.  After I have uploaded to your server – you will have 7 days to play with it, ask questions and just generally bug me if you don’t ‘get it’, at no cost – after which there will be an hourly fee of $25.

PLEASE NOTE:

I am not a wordpress support person.  It is not my job to hold your hand and teach you how to make posts and post images and such.  There are many many tutorials and sites detailing the use of wordpress as a blogging platform.  Please give them a go first – and if you are still having troubles – ask me!
